Friendly welcome at reception. Due to the very poor weather, the pitches were not at their best but we were able to change our allocated muddy pitch to a less muddy one! The toilets are clean but the block further away from the front is better and the female/male toilets are separate. The swimming pool was good. The bar/snack area was only open on the Saturday so can’t comment on that.

This is a beautiful site and highly recommended. The staff are helpful, considerate and cheerful. We have used this site before and will return. It serves as a very base for visiting many of the chateaux in the region.

This is a beautiful site, with good facilities. The owners make a wonderful effort to be socially and environmentally responsible. The pitches are well kept and mown between each booking, there is a good water supply, and fire precautions easily accessible. We stayed two weeks and will gladly return.

It is a fantastic site for families with lots to do in the area. There are lots of local markets around. The campsite is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. The 3 pools are great for the children and lots of grounds for them.The pitches are good and the campsite us quiet.

A week here was brilliant. Facilities, especially the pools, are superb. The site was very tidy and quiet, except for the frogs in the pond near the entrance! The price was amazing considering what we paid in the UK for a farmer's field with just a tap and plug in. We only used the food takeaway once so can't really compare.

A lovely campsite with decent sized pitches. It's quiet and the staff are so friendly. 3 great pools for adults and children and lots of play parks for children to venture to. Plenty to do within the local area.

A beautiful, restful two weeks. Plenty to see around the area. Staff and owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We have stayed here twice in 2019 and 2023 and have enjoyed our stays here because of the location, the availability of food and drink on the site and the beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The shower and toilet blocks are well designed, generous in size and well constructed. However to maximise the rating I would give, three things need to change. The first is the location of the chemical waste disposal. on both stays our pitch was near the washrooms and on each occasion there is a regular foul smell from campers emptying their chemical cassette units. We have been camping for over 15 years and in this time have stayed at 100s of campsites and we have never smelt the dreadful smells we get when staying on this campsite even two rows back from the washrooms. Second the owners have decided that yes toilet paper is provided but only from one cassette in each WC area such you have to decide HOW MUCH toilet paper you are going to use before entering the WC- what madness and rather mean. Either provide toilet paper inside each WC or don’t. Third the washrooms have a checksheet saying they are cleaned 4 times a day well after staying for 3 days I was still staring at the same stains on washroom mirrors and dirt on top surfaces like the air dryer units.. The washrooms may be wiped over in areas but they are not spotless and not up to cleanliness standards we have seen achieved elsewhere on larger but similar wooded campsites like La Sousta. . So a good campsite but could do better especially as it is in the top end price wise.

This campsite has extremely talented owners, Laurent and Isabel are very genuine people who compliment one another superbly. Perfect hosts who achieve what they achieve by a lot of hard work.
The site is kept impeccable and a credit to them both and the meals are excellent quality and superbly priced.
We attended with 31 caravans and motor homes.

This is probably one of or is the best campsite in France. Ideally situated in the heart of the Loire within easy reach of many interesting chateau. The owners are brilliant and are willing to help in any way they can. Great bar and restaurant facilities on site, you can hire bikes and there are wonderful cycling routes mapped out for you. A great campsite highly recommended
